Recovered dead LDAP server on compyg5.unl.edu

Today, no users could login to compyg5.unl.edu using their LDAP accounts. I had to recover it. Here's what I did.
  1. Back up LDAP server to /etc/openldap.bak using the Server Admin app
  2. Recover the database:
    • cd /var/db/openldap/openldap-data
    • db_stat -CA
    • db_stat -c
    • db_recover
  3. Reboot
