I am installing a prerelease of CMSSW so that Jason and I can look at some recent FPix calibration runs from CERN.
I am following the instructions at: https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/CMS/CMSSW_aptinstaller for OSG sites.
- Login as cmssoft on t3.unl.edu using ksu
- Install releases in /mnt/unl/cmssoft (/mnt/unl/cms is a failed attempt and will be removed.)
- export OSG_APP=/mnt/unl/cmssoft
- export SCRAM_ARCH=slc4_ia32_gcc345
- The bootstrap-slc4_ia32_gcc345.sh file from when Carl did this before is the same, so I'll use his
- I ran this bootstrap, but it turns out it wasn't actually neccessary. You only need to run it once.
- Did this actually work? Yes, but I think things are messed up with the directory structure.
